So my idea is to have some more things to tune before the race and have a bigger range of settings, unique for each track.

How about some new tracks, to correspond with the new tracks of Formula1?
And greater responsiveness to the Push Level?
Recharging of Boost, closely linked to driving style, as in real life Formula 1

please do not hijack the thread for your own purposes. If you want to make suggestions other than those mentioned, please start a new one.

It's also worth reading through the other suggestions. I believe 4 new tracks have been confirmed as coming in early suggestion threads.

I like the idea of additional settings for the tracks, gear ratio and maybe splitting the front and rear wing would be interesting.

Since brake balance can be adjusted in race to a degree, less interested in that.

What is the difference between engines and aerodynamics in this suggestion?

Thanks for your reply,

As for the wings i also think splitting those two would be more beneficial to the gameplay. As giving more stuff to adjust could help towards the variable setup of a car for each unique race.

Brakes could be adjustable in three spots.
1: more pressure towards the front tyres.
2.More to the back ones.
3 Balanced on both sides.
Of course it should have an impact to the racing line of the car, tha way it take the turn and so on..

Gearbox could also have a three way setup:
1. Favor the revs after cornering
2. Favor long straight lines
3. Balanced

ENGINE:
Could use the gear box setting and apply the revs to the torque producing by each engine
Engines should have those torque stats though for calculating

Aerodynamics is about having the overall setup of the car after calculating some things like : weight of all parts installed, f & r wings setting and how high is the car from the ground (suspension).

I hope that helps.
If i ever come with other ideas will let you know.

would be lovely not having numbers and just an aproximation as you literally know the best setup for every track, bringing more variety if a team has a slightly better setup than others.

also, whats with the wet setup just not working in the wet if the race started dry but rained mid-race?

It would work if for example on a scale of 0-100, players could choose to go in  either directions choosing lets say hard to soft or high to low..always on the scale of numbers but that way we could have a great variation of setups.

As for wet / dry conditions i think that could be adjastable only on the online setting through race, favoring that way the active players who follow the league.

So for those of us who played iGP before the August 2016 update...

It would be great to reintroduce these settings but while the setup is only a minigame, that leaves an handicap based on how wrong your setup was, it's a waste of time for developers.

I hope one day we will have a deeper race simulation that rewards players betting on a wet setup when race start is dry but it will rain for most of the time. Only then this addition would be useful.
