I know all of you use tools and sheets with more accurate data to play this game and maybe you haven't even noticed. But since the last update (which changed absolutely nothing in terms of rebalancing attributes) the fuel shown in practice laps is completely wrong.
I don't use any tools or any sheets whatsoever. I've been playing in a NRF league lately and I didn't get the right fuel not even once. Previous season, before the update, I never had any problems calculating the fuel load. After the update, I didn't get a single one right. Either I was short of fuel by 1-2 litres or over fuelled even by 3-4 litres in some races. That's because fuel from practice laps I used to do calculations was always completely wrong. Other people from the league told me it was wrong after showing them multiple times. Even in another league (RF) with another account, I'm having the same problem. Showed another player who use other tools to set up for races and he said it was wrong. I'm really surprised nobody said a single word about this so far, means everybody use external tools, sheets and calculators (and that sucks!!!). I'm honestly baffled, either by this game itself which is completely bugged and by the total ignorance someone like me has to live with trying to play this game.
Please, fix your game. I don't want to use external tools and sheets with more accurate data than the in-game data, cause I'm an ignorant and don't even know how to use them. Why should I even be supposed to do that in the first place? Game should give accurate data on its own. It's really not the case here.

I’ve read all your posts both here and on discord. I understand that you don’t want to use fancy tools and spreadsheets, but you don’t need to. I’m not sure where the fuel discrepancy is coming from, but just a simple calculator works.
on two of my accounts, i have them in offline NRF leagues that i set up everyday. i take the median fuel in practice across the 5 laps, multiply it by the number of laps, and round up if needed. i don’t think i’ve ever run out. and, i don’t think i’ve ever been left with 3 liters left for some reason.
this has proved to be very reliable. you don’t need a fancy sheet. just use a basic calculator.
i know there’s been some frustrations for you in F1C, but this strategy i mentioned earlier (take practice lap fuel and multiply it by total laps) is what I’ve done all season wrong. I haven’t run out once, nor have I wound up with 3-4 extra liters.
I’m not sure this issue is a bug. perhaps it’s push level that you’re not accounting for? regardless, if a 0.01 liter discrepancy (which is what you said in F1C) is what you’re arguing about, no tool or cheat sheet will fix that. that’s called racing.

Disclaimer: I only have experience in refuel leagues.
I haven’t noticed any change in fuel consumption, maybe that’s because I race refuel and the effect is smaller, idk
I do know the fuel use in practice laps can vary quite a bit so in NRF I reckon it’s best to use an average of all practice laps but I guess that’s obvious so you got there way ahead of me.
I used to rely on in game notes before moving on to the spreadsheet I use now. It’s just for remembering data, it does zero calculations, just so you know there are some no-tools-no-spreadcheat guys out here. Or at least one ?

Hi Lolita. More (well... any) data could help those of us with calculating spreadsheets to have a look and see if there is anything going wrong. Often driver errors cause 0.01 or even 0.02l differences in practice laps but I've done a good number of laps across many accounts tonight and seen no major inaccuracies, and especially none that don't even put over larger data set. I'm sure if you could provide some case studies some of us would be happy to take a look for you, maybe even share some data with you if you'll have it?
