I have just logged in this morning a I do not have my daily log in bonus.
Is there a way of seeing if I have already taken it for today?

Hey mate, it should say "claimed" if you have already taken it.

Hello

Above the "Forum" button, there is a shop button. 
The top row will have your Daily Reward and two Daily Deals.
