hi, isn't becoming an engine costumer in rookie a too big advantage.
in this way you would have a +30 in a stat that would be maximum at 50.
i think this would be OP, am i wrong?
imagine two equal cars competing in a championship. in the last races one of the managers decide to become an engine costumer and from that point he would have a stat with a +30. what would be his advantage in those races? would he win easily or it would not change so much?

The other manager could find a engine for himself \ herself, I don’t see any advantage.

yes but the point of my question was how big would be the gap between a car with and one without the engine.

because I suppose it would be a very bigger gap than the one you would have in the élite class where the max points in a stat is 200.

so, would a car with the engine in rookie win easily or it would not change so much?

There would also be the downside of -15 in one of the other stats to consider. So the net advantage is 15 points

15 points is an advantage and with two players of similar skill and ability it will be tricky but not impossible to overcome.

However in rookie, There are still so many factors at play, there's a higher chance the player won't be on a good strategy, there's a chance you may have better drivers, or that you have chosen to develop different facilities.

I guess what I am trying to say is, there's an advantage, but the other player may have advantages in other area, and even if they don't, they could win through a better strategy. It is by no means a guaranteed win in my opinion.

There isn’t a standard answer to this question since it depends on what level the engine being supplied is, how the attributes have been tweaked- remember the engine supplier is much more likely to tweak them based on their car development and schedule than that of the person being supplied.  For example, when you become an engine supplier until you have applied sufficient engine pts to the design it will be inferior to a standard engine with sponsor attributes.  If it was a lvl 30 engine you would expect it to give a big advantage, but this could easily be negated by the rookie not knowing how to develop his car correctly, develop his driver the correct way and understand the correct strategy for track and temp.  Most Rookies don’t learn this while they are in the rookie tier and will spend most of their time racing inactive drivers or active ones which don’t bother to turn up to races
