What did you try to do?
Tried to put on inters with 1 minute 30 seconds to go after a dry Quali and 0.1mm on the weather tab.

What happened instead?
it started raining on the grid, Dry Quali, it reached 0.1mm at 1 minute 30 seconds remaining and everyone switched to inters and it did not let me do so costing me a lot of points

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?
Wi-fi

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?
PC

What operating system is your PC?
Windows 11

Which browser did you experience the problem in?
I used the app

Can the bug be reproduced?
Probably not considering its a very isolated case.

Fairly sure you have to change tires before the 2min mark.

not true as everyone changed tyres the second it turned to 0.1mm the selection locks at 30 seconds before lights out

i can testify this as i was racing against him, we were all able to switch on the intermediate tyre while he was the only one that couldnt, even though we did it at the same time

Hi Avenir

What method did you use to attempt to change to wet tyres on the grid? What I have found is that very often, if you are using your usual quick pit stop controls, it may be displaying strategy for your next pit stop already.

If you can see all 6 tyre compounds as an option, then this is the case.

The most reliable way to change to inters / wets and adjust fuel, is to go to the full strategy tab which lets you replan and interact with all stints. It is a hammer and spanner icon at the top of the page on web, I can't remember where it's located on mobile / tablet but probably the same.

From there navigate left as far as you can and that should be your choice of starting tyre and fuel, and will affect the tyres on the grid as long as you have not crossed the cut off for changes.

i had the option to select 3 tires only ss inters and wets, i selected inters and nothing changed whatsoever, the fuel adjusted to what I changed it to but the tires did not.

Hmmm that is quite strange then yes. It accepting fuel change remove's desynchronisation as a potential cause in my opinion.

Did you try the alternative menu I mentioned, or was that where you were trying in the first place?

I think you are right it's going to be difficult to identify and reproduce this one for analysis so the best I can do for you is raise awareness of the alternative route to changing the tyre.

If you change it before the race start i know there is a visual bug,if you want to see the compounds(in live races) it will show you the slick tyre,not inter,so i think thr game changed to the compound from the quali.Is that even posible???

Are you referring to the compound not showing correctly on the leaderboard sometimes? If yes, I don't think that is relevant here.

If no, I'm not sure what you are talking about at all, the problem here is that the original poster was unable to change from their qualifying tyre to inters on the grid.

I don't know if we can say unable,because he said he changed to inters,so if he did that on the full strategy screen/tab that means here he had the inters selected(he said he selected the inters),but on the track driver was on slick tyres,can be a bug (idk if i am saying correct)in the scripts to not change tge tyres if he selected  it?

Is posible to be just a visual to show he is on slicks but to be on the inter tyre

Avenir was the pace like on the slick,was the car slower or you pitted on the 1st lap and you didn't see how the pace is(because if wad only 0.1/0.2 if you were on s/ss i think you will not be much slower)???

I've had it multiple times as well as other managers who couldn't change after the 2min to go mark.. odd.

Avenir sorry to digress a little there but if you could confirm exactly which method you used to try to change your tyres (Either primary interface or specialised through the hammer and spanner) that would be useful information for me to pass on so we can try and replicate, or at the very least i'll try keep an eye out for it myself and see if I can identify anything.



I used the Hammer and Spanner Icon as that is how I managed to also change the fuel load.
