so i have been thinking about this for the last hour, managed to get into a bidding war for a 4 1/2 star TD, however i can not go any further because i am out of tokens now. i was thinking that the auction system shouldn't just take those tokens off you if your bid is then trumped by someone else who bids and thus you can't bid anymore or go for another transfer.

what i am suggesting is an automatic token return when a bid fails or like when you have ordered something that the money is earmarked to be taken out on receipt of delivery and the money is taken, however you can cancel the order and the money remains and the earmark is removed or if it is taken, it is returned, however should a bid go to a knockout stage the bid is a success and so another token is needed for a knockout round bid, the same if the bid successfully yields that transfer to your team.

Right now 4 1/2 star staff members or 5 star staff members are highly valued and i think it would be a good thing if everyone can get a fair shot at it rather than those who wait for the last moment or those who have the tokens to take it all the way. it would level the playing field when bidding on a staff member.

At least if you did bid in the initial round a few times you can get all your tokens back if it were not successful.

The other person would get their tokens back too, which doesn't do anything to resolve your situation. They'd just be able to keep bidding like you are.

I think he means only failed bidders have their tokens reimbursed. I feel it is not an entirely unreasonable suggestion tbf
