There are no longer any 5 star CDs, TDs or DRs on the transfer market. I have been looking for many days and they never appear even though I can see plenty of 5 star drivers on the list. This is the case with all three of my teams, one at L15, one at L14 and one at L13.
Thus is frustrating because Jack informed us the star rating of backroom staff is now more important than any of their individual attributes. The CD star rating determines the starting design of next season's car, the star rating of the TD is linked to the awarding of espionage design points and the Doctor's rating is linked to training/health.
For those who don't already have 5 star staff it now appears to be impossible to hire them because 4.5 stars is the maximum available on the transfer list. Unlike drivers, it is impossible to train backroom staff and they don't automatically improve with experience so if you hire 4.5 star CD, TD or DR that's what you're stuck with until you level up at which point their star rating drops!
Doubly frustrating is the fact that a good few managers took advantage of a glitch in the system shortly after migration from old iGP and managed to bag themselves staff well above their level cap which means they'll continue to be 5 star even when the manager levels up.
Bottom line.... Please can we have some 5 star backroom staff made available. Thank you :-)
