Hi there, been a long time manager in this game and one thing that has bothered me about the design in it's current iteration is the information it has to definely tell people how much better their car is to the attribute.

Instead of showing a bar and setting it to somewhere along the line, could this instead be changed to showing your ranking in the league in a certain attribute? Obviously the X with first having y being excluded.

Acceleration: 4th (Some small improvements possible) (170 with 1st being 200)
Braking: 12th (some improvements possible) (100 with 1st being 150)
Downforce: 8th (some small improvements possible) (67 with first being 88)
Fuel Economy: 11th (A lot of Improvements possible) (45 with first being 160)
~Etc

I feel it gives away too much information at the moment and doesn't allow enough ambiguity.

I feel like this would could end up giving away more information than currently, in some ways. By spending 1 point at a time you would be able to find out where other cars are on the line by watching your ranking update. Currently you can only see who is the best in each step and have no idea how you compare to anyone else. This would allow you to build a clearer picture with some patient spending.

I'm also not a fan of degrading the information for research. A key part of this game in my opinion is maximising your car design path, and this adds a random element in, it also wouldn't be too effective as by being able to spend points and see your rank update it would be fairly easy to determine what the "small improvements", "some improvements" and "A lot of improvements" ranges cover in terms of value.
