What did you try to do?
Normal race

What happened instead?
The car which was ahead on track at the finish - and can be seen as ahead on track in a screenshot and the race recording - was not displayed as ahead on the in-race timing tower and as such not awarded the win.

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?
Wi-fi

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?
PC

What operating system is your PC?
Windows 11

Which browser did you experience the problem in?
Chrome

Can the bug be reproduced?
Probably not

Additional comments:
https://youtu.be/JzulTPUI7kk?t=2395 - link to race recording showing the finish. Cannot paste the frame showing Prost crossing the line ahead of Reutemann, but can send on another platform.

Hey Marco,

Looks like you weren’t in sync with the server. This could be caused by a lag spike on your network.

The timing panel normally is the most accurate one, car positions are the ones affected by desync while updating the position in the map.

So it should be considered correct that Reutemann won the race even though he did not appear ahead on the circuit?

It didn't appear like this for your screen as client-server weren't in sync.
