Hi guys !

I never played with refuel but my league has it now
Do you have some advices ?

Is planning more laps in fuel but pitting manually for reduce pit time works ? Like my tyres can do 15 laps I plan 17 but I box at 15 so I won’t spend days refueling the full next stint ?

[2022] iGP Manager complete guide

7A: Race management

In races with refueling, never (without exceptional circumstances) fuel above 45-50 litres, think twice before deciding to fuel above 40.
Strategies of course vary by track, but often a combination of softs and mediums will be best.

A couple of changes from NRF -
1. FE is far less important as carrying 1 extra litre each stint is way less harmful than carrying 5 extra litres all at once early in an NRF race.
2. More pit stops, typically, as pitting more often now comes with the advantage of carrying less fuel along with fresher tyres. As a result, less likely to see Hards being used in races, and SS (depending on race length) may become viable.
3. In RF, you gain places at pit stops by doing the opposite of NRF, pitting later. Being one lap heavier throughout the stint allows you to pit in a lap later, giving you a lap on quali fuel (very fast) while everyone else is 30+ kg heavier (very slow). This obviously will make you slower in the build-up to it though, so use with caution!
4. Finally, pit time isn't too important. Worry about the fastest strategy (aka no spare fuel, sorry!) and it'll sort itself out from there.
