Sprint Races are in season and with that so are the bots.

Bots singlehandedly kill any enjoyable gaming experience one might get from iGP manager considering the expectation is 'Live' multiplayer.

I have experienced sprint races where I was the only live player from 17 cars on the grid. It's really not a nice experience.

I understand some measures were taken to reduce this such as only awarding the top 50% of finishing cars but in my opinion this can be refined and it leads to my suggestion.

How about, 'No input, No reward?' + Top 50% awarded.

The idea is that any car that the game detects inputs nothing (Does not open the race viewer, Push level changes, fuel changes, tyres changes, pits etc) gets 'ABSOLUTELY' nothing (Not even driver EXP points which is the bulk reason of most bots) and ALL of the penalties (engine wear, driver/staff aging etc)

With this in place, I think players will be encouraged to sprint race live as opposed to botting with 0% gains and 100% losses.

Thank you for reading.

I second this! Every sprint race i have taken part in has had a maximum of 3 live players

With the amount of bots running rampant, I suspect they could be official bots to populate the SRs. If this is the case, I think there is a better strategy.

Instead of using AI logic, which is sheep mentality (all cars boosting at the same time), how about using recordings of live plays? This way, 16 cars won't all boost at the same time.

I think it's a great idea, although I don't believe it's the main issue with the SRs. Because if they are bots, in theory, they should end up in the last places, and the active players should win easily.

Not necessarily. A well set up bot can beat a less skilled player. Being a bot does not automatically make you last.
