In Pro tier, the car design can exceed the limit of 200 by using suppliers, as the extra range is available but restricted.

In elite, 300 is the absolute maximum and it cannot be exceeded using suppliers. So what you have experienced sounds like expected behaviour and not a bug.

Even if you have fully spent to 300 in a stat, you should be able to re-arrange your suppliers to compensate for your realisation. Is there a reason this isn't possible for you?

I can flag it for support to consider. But Super Mods and Mods can't take these actions themselves as we are only volunteers, but we can escalate to support / admins for you.

Usually a player action in error would not be compensated, but I believe it may be technically possible and given that I assume it's your first time in elite and the information regarding limits isn't the easiest to find it could be possible.

Although you could in theory choose different suppliers that do not provide bonuses in the stat that you have at 300, which would be an easier solution. But my guess would be that maybe you are using a custom engine from another team, so it may not be quite as painless a task as I make it sound.

I'll flag your request for support to review. Could you please outline how many points you spent in error and into which stat please. That information would be required in the event any action is taken.

There is no ballast at all in elite at any point. Apart from that I can't think of any other differences. Thank you for the understanding on the situation.

I'll put in a suggestion suggesting that the information regarding the caps be updated to try make this clearer for people. Essentially in pro the cap is a "soft" cap, which can be exceeded with suppliers, while in elite it is a "Hard" cap, which can never be breached.
