An ultimate trophy competition where top 3  from each League compete for prizes(tokens)and incentives ( T30 drivers).

All Leagues to be ranked on basis of performance and divided into tiers, and different slots for tier wise participation.

This would bring more competition for the participants. As top 3 will participate in a grand race in a competition, similarly top 7-10 can participate in another competition.

time will be the difficulty in this. The usp of igp is live racing against real people. That means a global cup is not easy, getting everyone all over the globe to race at 1 certain timeslot is not realistic.

An ultimate continental trophy though, that has a chance as it is, in essence, a group of timezones competing at an “average” timeslot. A European cup, Asia cup, cup of the Americas, … as a side competition to the league, like a champions league of igp, i would love that to happen

Take the best of both worlds: a continental championship and the winners of each continent compete in the ultimate race. Just one race. So even if the time slot is not favorable it’s just a one time thing.

I would love to see a global league(s), or centralised, regional league system in some form in this game (again), but inevitably the timings will be the sticking point.

For those newer to the game, iGP Manager did actually once run a global league, in partnership with Apex Online Racing (AOR) and AutoSport (motorsport magazine)

It was called the AOR iGP League, and it ran 1 race a week on Tuesdays at 20:00 UTC (between Jan 2019 - July 2019) The timing was subject of much debate, as there were calls for 19:00 UTC.

Obviously with one timing chosen, it restricts certain regions from competing. Notably, in this case, Asian players would have had a c.04:00 race start time.

Great league though, and everything was managed very well, especially the logistics for the Qualifying Phase, with over 200 entries.

Anyway, here is a clip of me losing the lead on the last lap from that league ðŸ˜‚ It was a great race though, especially from Nicolás Navarro ^_^

So timing is the main issue here, as Peter man pointed out there was an attempt to establish a separate intercontinental competition league like this.

Slo bro’s suggestion might work as having qualifying competition based on respective time zones, American, European, Asian etc..

I don't think timing is the issue, 10PM UTC on Saturdays will probably work for all timezones (if you truly want to race).

The main issue is such a thing is most likely extremely low on the priority list considering the effort that will be needed to host such an event.

Events were already mentioned in some of the blog releases though, so I'm sure it's not so far away now.

I mean it’s pretty boring for non level 30 players in a league, losing reputation, finance and parts every race only plus is XP. Unless ofcourse use tokens to speed up every construction and buy talented drivers.

It would’ve been nice to have another competition to race in.

This is what is currently 'broken' in the game sadly, Level 6 managers entering the game, and straight up racing against up to Level 30 managers in the Pro tier, and in Elite, only Level 30s car really win.

I read though that Jack said they are seriously considering basing off drivers performance relative to the stars they have, so that will at least close the gap.

As it is though, sadly it is a slowly dying game with the current league meta (especially 2 car leagues)

For example, you can try ILC (interleague), where some of the strongest leagues in iGP compete with given cars. Of course, this requires you to join one of those leagues and make a good impression (I'm sure the best players will recognise your skills if you perform well for your level and let you race for their team after 2-3 seasons), or build a strong league and enter with them. The new season will start after the W2W update.

Or another option: try World Cup, where nations compete and takes place every year or two (but there is a minimum level required because you have to race with your own profile). If you finish in the top 6 in your country's qualifying round, you can represent India in the main tournament.

Like Vince mentioned below, there are some community ran comps like ILC or world cup. ILC is a bit niche though as you need to be a proven manager, but WC is open to all.

Unfortunately again, those comps don't happen very often, especially WC due to the effort behind it. When next it comes around, you can give it s try pending the release of official comps.

In terms of levels, yes it's a long road now that it's up to 30 but it gets better from L25. A skilled L25 - L26 should have an edge over a L30. So while it's not easy to get to L30, it's not all that bad as soon as you hit L25.
