990.8 million in debt overnight

I logged onto my game to play it as I do every evening.

What happened instead?
I found that I was in debt to the tune of 999.8 million. This was not the case the night before. I have no idea how this happened.

I have tried clearing cashe but nothing happened. my transaction history states that this was a penalty of 999 999 999 as of 22:02 on 18th of June 2025. I have absolutely no idea what it was in response to.

There was no hanky panky there. I can assure you of that. The selling of players in and of itself is not unusual. It may be that a different strategy is at play in preparation for the next season. This is after all a Management game and winning comes as a design of good planning not cheating. it may be just that it is easier to buy players of the level you desire from the transfer market as opposed to spending copious amount of time training them ( a procedure which takes longer and longer the more you train them ), which can be tedious. Still, that said, I still do not understand why I would be penalised for this. It is not illegal to sell drivers, whatever their status or abilities. My losing $1bn in game cash befuddles me. Awaiting your response.

I recently posted a query in the 'Bugs' section of the forum hosted by this game. This was in regards to finding that I had been penalised to the amount of 998 million. this issue has been moved to the help and support section of the forum. i believe it can still be viewed there. This matter was then posted as having been solved - which it wasn't.

I was given the reason for my penalty as thus:

" As league host you're not racing normally and still hoarding tokens and using these to to bid on drivers. train these and upgrade the special abilities. our way to stop this behaviour while not suspending the account was to set an abnormal account of debt in the team "

I do not understand what you mean when you say that I'm not racing normally. Secondly I do not see what is wrong with hoarding tokens. I think you will find that you need a lot of them to manage in this game. and thanks to your recent upgrades every thing has become ridiculously expensive - from changing livery to instant builds to having to constantly "invest" by trading coins for cash just to buy parts for the next race. 

as for training drivers, if I decide that I no longer want to train drivers and opt instead to utilise the transfer market, what is wrong with that ?. people change their minds all the time and being penalised for that is unbelievable.

I am convinced that I have done nothing wrong in this game and that I have been shabbily treated by the Administrator in this case.

I have been playing this game for years - a very great amount of my time spent being a part of this community. I am seriously aggrieved at the way I have been treated. 

I feel that this issue will not go away. If you do not fix this issue I will kindly request that you delete my accounts.

Key question for me is: are you actively racing with that account? 

If not, there shouldn’t be exemptions from farming for hosts, that would open the door to farming (every farmer would become host). Thats my take of it.

Filler accounts in pro exist but they should never buy anything from shop, edit drivers, transfer drivers, train drivers etc. they’re there to fill pro not to spend tokens. Same goes for host accounts not actively racing.

Those accounts in elite: if these are yours, why have filler accounts in elite? In pro I get it, to activate promotion, but why in elite? Isn’t that textbook farming? I mean at least 6 out of 16 appear to be yours

The key answer is Yes I am racing actively with this account and have been doing so for neigh on 4 years now ( when I founded my league ). 

As for Filler accounts, I had no idea that they were illegal or more-so that you could not buy anything from the shop, edit drivers, transfer drivers, train drivers etc. Those rules must be in that black hole of a rule book you keep where no one can access it.

It seems to me that you guys want to set tariffs on how people should enjoy this game and if it doesn't meet your expectations, you penalise. Now sure I accept that most people have only one account and they're happy to continue that way but that is not the only way you can play this game. I  personally like that I have teams at my ready. they' all set to different strengths ( e.g Acceleration for one, Handling for another and so on. It opens up a world of opportunities to try out different strategies in order to learn and better understand this game. I really enjoy that. today I chase you with a Mclaren, tomorrow a Ferrarri and so on.

It also works great at filling up the league not only to activate promotion but also to foster competition. There's nothing more annoying than having a level 10 player join your league, get promoted to Elite, ( for lack of competition - due to your confounded upgrades ) only to have his Butt handed to him, get bored and then finally leave the game. they don't even take their cars with them. They just leave them there. I my league I set a very high level of competition. You will have to beat the "filler" cars ( as you call them ) in order to progress. In Elite, The filler cars just add to the heat of the competition. and that's just how I like it and so do the gamers in my league. Your'e the only ones who seem to have a problem with that. 

Then there's this farming issue. I don't know what makes you think I'm farming. I will let you know something. Before your upgrades, when you had three tiers ( Rookie, Pro and Elite ) I ran my league using the same principle. I had cars in all three leagues set up for the very reasons I stated earlier. I had more cars then and the competition was great. Once,.. some of the cars got away from me resulting in 2 of my Rookie teams being promoted to Pro and 2 of my Pro teams being promoted to Elite. I fired an e-mail to Trujillo, explained my league and how I was running it and then politely requested that he return the rookie cars to Rookie and the Pro cars to Pro.  And...He...Did...It.... Why didn't he tell me that I was farming then??? I had a lot more cars and I was developing them and the drivers. This farming issue is a misnomer. you just won't like the way I'm playing the game and so you penalise me.

I visit the forums from time to time and like most of the gamers who subscribe to your platform know, the penalty fro farming is expulsion. Why haven't you done that now ???

I’m just a player mate, I don’t set any rules and I certainly don’t penalise. I just give my honest opinion and see where it goes from there.

As for farming, I imagine it’s a thin line between not actively racing and accumulating tokens / farming. Not my decision anyhow.

Mon Trujillo, I have absolutely no idea what on earth you are talking about. Total nonsense. if i was farming, i would do so to win. I have no idea which league you're looking at. My teams do not get lapped a couple of times. If you had any perspicasity Whatsoever, you would have noticed that my teams are always at the sharp end of the results table. I do it to foster competition. If you're not good enough to be in my league, go join another one. If you do not like the way that I am running my league then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT !! You are taking the cowards way out, by saying " OK that's it, we've made our decision you'll just have to lump it " I WILL NOT!!! your treatment of me is disgraceful. People who play your game are following this. This does not make you look good. That said, if I have committed an infringement to your rules WHY AREN'T YOU DELETING ME ?????

Mark, you do this out of fear for these people. This game is YOURS not theirs. without you all they have is a screen with hundreds of lines of code. YOU'RE what makes it real, and they should appreciate that. You should be supporting me not them. They should have a duty of care to ensure that all these beautiful people in the world who buy into their premise do it out of a compulsive desire to want to be a part of a particular Paradigm. that meaning, your time is YOURS. GOD gave that to you and if you want to spend some of it in the indulgence of a particular game then that is your choice. Speaking for myself, I would want something back in return for that and I don't think that 'respect' is too much to ask for'
