Blue flags

I might sound like a moaner here, but I feel like we should have blue flags during races. During races, I have been held up by lapped cars who didn’t bother to do setups. While I acknowledge that it adds some suspense if you get stuck behind a lap car, it’s just annoying altogether. If we want this to truly be a f1 manager type game, we need to add the one thing that we are missing that will make it a f1 style game, and that is blue flags.

Erm, I don’t think you can really be held up by a lapped car, you just ghost through it. And if you can’t, it’s free drs so I don’t see the problem

You can,i lost like 0.7s and after that still overtaking the car and not getting the drs, and the car behind me got the drs and that's how i lost a podium

Ok, that’s how a race unfolds sometimes. IMO your fault for not using a bit of boost, it’s a management game. but that’s just my personal view on it

Looking at previous form.

There will come a reply on here from a mod or a Jose, saying that this a formula racing game, not a "Formula 1" racing game.   Ergo, although, already on radar as a part, potentially, of a new flags system, this is one that potentially will not be taken up.

That most likely will be the case, but many people are going to have this problem in the future, so I feel like we need them as an update for other flags.

many ppl don’t have this problem since its  easy to pass inactive cars if you are set up right for the track & conditions, you don’t even need to use boost.

You’d be better focusing on things that will stop you being lapped.  Ovefuelling can you very slow so focus on improving your fuel calculations.  if you finish a race with more than 1-2 litres there is something wrong with your calcs.  Experienced managers will often finish with 0.5-1.0 litres.  Think about your strategies.  Looking at some of your past results there are things that can be improved, for example. starting on Meds in Hungary for a refuelling race is a big no no.  Even on pl5 your tyres must have been so cold they probably had icicles 🥶. For Monaco you were on soft all race when everyone was using SS.  Italy is a track where pits are long you need a strategy that minimises stops rather than taking more than your opponents.

Watch a few races in some of the stronger leagues and learn what strategies are used at each track and see how temp affects these strategies.

Read the pinned guides at the start of the Help & Support section especially the one on Chassis Development

Also the current leader of your league is a very good and experienced manager who I’m sure will help if you have any questions.

It is not. If you got a lapped car ahead of you at the inappropriate time and track segment (usually corner after corner), you can sometimes literally stuck behind a lapped car. Even if it's a car without any settings.

And also on a tracks where dirty air is massive, you'll always lose a lot of time behind them if you're not get them on a DRS zone.
