Hey Bruno,
Yes, it’s been considered by the team as an exploit. You all were aware that primary is a dev sandbox for us and did find unfinished content and tried to find a way to take an advantage. The drivers or tokens won’t be returned.
This is a misunderstanding. We were told it was just a test environment with visual changes only of potential future versions. Now it's clear to me that we weren't supposed to have knowledge/access to it. I thought it was just a test demo and played around a bit, then exited.
Upon seeing that the changes stuck to my account in the usual url without the "primary", I first tried to clean caché, it did not work, it was late and I went to sleep. The next morning, seeing the attributes were still over 30, I sent an email detailing the situation and what had happened, making it clear I did not want to take advantage of an exploit, and to please rollback the affected drivers.
They were rolled back 3 days ago and everything was okay until yesterday night/today that is when I noticed the drivers had been deleted.
As per the above:
1. I was unaware this was a dev sandbox
that affected the actual game client.
2. Upon realising changes were permanent I immediately contacted igp support by email the next morning, apologising and asking to rollback the drivers to keep competition fair and square.
It is clear I reported the issue as soon as I noticed permanent changes on the account and explicitly wrote on my email I did not want to take advantage of an exploit. Thereby I request the drivers to be restored to their original state.
Clarification: all drivers were already T30 with all stats maxed at 30. Only while testing 1 or 2 points of stamina were gained, and it was reported immediately after seeing the stats were also present in the game prod. Not just in the testing sandbox.
We know of other players who didn't report the issue and their drivers were just rolled back, but not deleted. How does that make sense? It was an honest mistake and we reported it right away.
