Spare parts

All of the sudden all my spare parts are gone. They barely left me a few, not even enough to repair 1 car. I had plenty of parts... What's going on? Is this another way to force people to spend tokens? I've really kind of had it with this kind of shenanigans...

Hi Kevin. Not sure tbh. Plenty 😃 After almost 1700 races parts is not exactly an issue anymore. I wasn’t online for 2 days and that’s when it happened. So weird 🤨

Ah, so they didn't suddenly disappear.

Parts usage was increased at the last update 6 months ago. You race in a two car league and for this format, resource management is a real challenge. I imagine your stockpile has been gradually reducing since the update, and it's only now, when you have insufficient parts to repair your car, that the situation has come to your attention.

If you race in a two car league it is imperative that your HQ is the same level as your team and, even then, you have to consider when to repair your car because over the course of a season you will run a deficit of parts.

Four things are causing you these problems.
1) You compete in a 2 car league (one car have it too easy)
2) It's a 20 race season (shorter seasons are easier because the car is repaired free of charge after the final race)
3) Your Manufacturing facility is 8 levels below your team level (FYI, it's going to take some time to level up without token spend)
4) You need to consider parts management. There are times in the season when it is best not to repair your car.

What is the point in having 30 levels if you can be competitve without maxing out everything. That’s just plain unreasonable. And why in the world would you stop developing the HQ? Since the update in february you had plenty of time to upgrade your HQ and many in the forum reported a higher part consumption because their HQ was too low. Excuse me but it’s absolutely your fault.

And of course they want you to spend tokens, the game has to survive somehow…

I understand your concerns. Nothing of this is related to spend more tokens or not. The system is put in place to balance high levels and parts generation.

If your Factory facility is at the same level of your team there’s no problem. You’ve neglected this aspect for many months and experience levels so unfortunately your stock of parts have been shrinking until now.

I don’t think this is a game fault, let me remember this is a management game, so resource management is fully your responsibility.

Last but not least, is a bit disrespectful that in the league wall you’re making your league mates believe we caused this intentionally or magically removed your parts stock.

He might have missed the fact that the parts consummation has increased dramatically, but having enough parts was never an issue before, so why forcing people once again? Even with a level 30 parts production it’s hard to get around. Why was this necessary? I think more interesting things could have been done. But let’s say that I’m also not really caring anymore 🤷🏻‍♂️

Because it's a management game as said. 1-car will also get balancing changes in terms of resource management in a future update.
