Race restarted mid-race

What happened instead?
"Connection problem" appeared on lap 29/44 of the Bahrain iGP. After a minute the connection problem disappeared and the race restarted on lap 1.

Mine was USA Race 10 lap form end.

Here too, a Malaysia Race, 5 Laps bevore the end.

I would prefer if the race result was just voided and no points awarded - I don't know if the mods have the ability to manually remove points from a league race, but I'd rather it was not re-run during the week.

I think it will be best to void the results.

Ron, I see you are a league host, I'll respect your preference, however, given the frequency your league races at I could set it to re-run for the next valid date adhering to your league calendar.

Colin and Shamara, your league hosts will need to provide permission to void the results.

As it was the last race of the season, and we've changed rules to get rid of re-fueling for next season, we would rather just void the corrupted race result and get on with gearing up for the new season instead of waiting a week to try and have the same race again. The view of voiding the race result and awarding no points is supported by the majority of managers in my league.

It's been a while but IIRC voiding the results for a league's final race of the calendar poses some challenges.


Any chance you can get me the race ID(s) for that last race? It's the numbers in the link for the race results.

If it cannot be voided, its not the end of the world - but please don't re-schedule the race. We will just move onto the new season.
