Sprint races have always offered quick, competitive racing without the commitment of a full season. In iGP Manager 26, we’ve focused the sprint experience around a simple goal: races that are easier to join, easier to schedule, and better matched to your skill.

10-Minute Queue System
The new sprint race system runs on fixed 10-minute intervals. Instead of waiting in ad-hoc lobbies, you join a queue and the game automatically creates races at regular times (e.g. 12:00, 12:10, 12:20):

  • Join the sprint queue from the Sprint Races screen

  • Get matched automatically using Level and Reputation XP

  • Races spawn every 10 minutes, with a countdown timer showing the next start

  • The 10-minute queue gives us time to match you with players of a similar skill level, as opposed to the current system which produced severe mismatches

  • Multiple "splits" or races can spawn if there are enough managers queued

Private Lobbies Still Available
The classic lobby system remains for private racing. If you want full control over start time, tracks and rules with friends or league-mates, you can still:

  • Create a private lobby

  • Invite who you like (or open it up)

  • Start when everyone is ready

Public sprints use the new queue for efficiency; private lobbies keep the flexibility you’re used to.

Rewards & Progression
Sprint races award:

  • Prize money based on results

  • Level XP for manager level progression

  • Reputation (RXP) for competitive ranking

  • This turns sprint races into a natural extension of your main team development rather than a separate mode.

There are also no hard daily caps on sprint race rewards—your progress scales with how much you race, while league races remain the primary source for parts generation. This makes them useful if you want to level up quickly.

Better Matchmaking, Same Quick Races
By combining skill-based matchmaking with a fixed 10-minute schedule, sprint races in iGP Manager 26 are:

  • Easier to drop into when you have a spare moment

  • More consistently competitive, thanks to level-based matching

  • Less dependent on being online at the “right” time

If you enjoyed the spontaneity of old sprints, you’ll still be able to jump in frequently—now with clearer expectations about when the next race starts and who you’ll be racing against.
