Hi Jack et al,
I hope this doesn't come across as overly critical, but given the ... situation ... it seems like the latest push didn't go through a full test release on a testing environment, before going public.
As a developer myself, I kind of see what's happening and it's something that's very easy to fall into, a kind of 'rush' to put things out there. But right now, it's all just fighting fires due to ... let's be blunt ... an insufficiently tested release.
I am 100% sure that there are enough people in the community who would be willing to volunteer to do testing, if given access to a secondary environment... even if it gets reset every week and revoked when nothing new is there. The cost of running such an environment would surely mitigate the cost of losing players or having to stay up hours because of bugs and fixes.
