W2W Backmarkers / Blue Flags

Backmarkers are terrible in W2W. They literally park on the racing line and are so slow round corners they can't help but slow you down.

I think there needs to be more awareness for them to move aside or deliberately slow down to let leaders through.

I can tell you that this has been a problem with w2w ever since we got access to the beta version. We said this was an extremely big problem and got some mixed feedback from the admins. The last time I was testing it was a few months ago and it had been resolved somewhat. I don't know if Jack has gone back a few steps in his formula to launch this update but this is definitely a point I think you should make more demands on. Regards Hugo

The conclusion was that backmarkers should be ghosted, obviously they haven't been.

Backmarker overtaking is fine I guess when they're set up cars and truly being lapped. But when it's like 12+ non-setup cars that are lapping at a snails pace, it just ruins races.

Im sorry but no one likes such a challenge, no one like to be stuck behind a backmarker for an entire sector and losing up to 2secs or even more to the track in front, 2 SECONDS IN JUST ONE FK SECTOR, that is not normal and not a challenge it's just taking the piss off
i am here to race, compete againt other managers, im not here to deal with inactive accounts parking it in front of me and making me lose valuable time + insane amount of boost cuz my simply refuses to pass the bm asap
and where did u get this idea of "some people like the drama of a backmarker"
you've seen the issues ppl are facing now, complaining about from w2w to backmarkers to qualifying being fucked
and forgot to mention i cannot even join a league nor leave them with my other accounts like what???
i hope u sort out these issues and fix them asap and not be ignored like the issues we already had before this update

yeah i dont think ive ever seen someone say that. I dont even wanna talk about all the beta testers feedback but u definitively know what has been said about this problem jack. 


also in irl f1 the backmarkers if they hold up anyone which rarely happens theyll get pens something along the lines of that. Theres just no way this should even be a question.

I don’t mind there being backmarkers, but they shouldn’t be trying to race the race leaders. They need to get off the racing line and get off the throttle.
