I tried to log in to the races (selecting 2D/3D; cleared cache, doesn't matter)
-on my iPhone SE: raceviewer won't open
-on my desktop with Microsoft Edge: raceviewer won't open
-on my desktop with Google Chrome: raceviewer won't open
-on the downloaded desktop app: it says update required, download here but then absolutely nothing happens and the app closes.

I'm no dummy with desktops, I tried everything but it's not working any way I try.
This may be the right time for me to finally quit after 8 years. I'm very disappointed with the way the leagues need to be 'boosted' (ie paid with money every season) to have our old league working. Shame on you iGP...  And then find out they took away the only small compensation the lower level teams still had against the mighty level 30's: the better research %.  This truly was the best game in the genre.  It's just a shame it has become unrecognisable in the last few years.  Good bye everyone, thanks for many years of fun. 🙋‍♂️

Hi John, if you are willing, give us a chance to fix this for you. We're aware of the WebGL viewer issue, it should be resolved tomorrow.

I've seen a couple of reports from Android and Windows as well. The Windows standalone should have a launcher which automatically updates, so that's odd that it apparently isn't.

I stopped what I was doing with leagues to look into this issue, and I found something. I've just re-uploaded 2D maps. It won't fix the WebGL issue but it might help Android/iPhone or WIndows.

Thank you Jack for your reaction.  I'm prepared to give it another try, because I appreciate your personal involvement.
But please take a moment to hear me out on 2 things:

1.
Let's say the access issues are solved for everyone by the start of next season.  There are so many -important- leagues that play part-time, it's logical because those who race 7 days will burn out at some point - I guarantee you.  And that's not what YOU want.  And let me tell you: we're not going to pay every new season to have our old league back, we all have our mental bucket and it's been filling drop by drop until eventually it spills over for all of us sooner rather than later, it's been happening for some time.  The last thing we'll do is pay some more when we're already fed up, our commitment is at our lowest at that point, you see?  Yes, we lose love and do give up at some point.

2.
Apart from that, there's no reason for the smaller teams to continue.  We have kept on repeating for the past year that the biggest problem for the game is that new players are giving up because of the insurmountable disadvantages.  It's more and more impossible to compete, and it takes YEARS to catch up.  What did you expect?
So we have been complaining about this problem like crazy, and now you're making it even worse!  The one small compensating advantage left for the small teams was our bigger research %.  And now you're taking that away?  Please explain because I don't understand what you're doing.  You're making it worse.

Thanks for reading my honest feedback, it's heartfelt and meant in a constructive way. This really was the best game in the genre and I don't want to see it end this way. Thanks, John

I think with this update Jack has addressed some issues.

The only advantage big teams have against smaller teams is they get more design points each race.

But now a level 1 account can have a maxed out driver and boost and drs is the same for everyone of they keep it at 5 stars. If a new player struggles it’s because he needs to learn in-race management and car development (at least in theory).

I’d wait a few days till the update is more stable and everyone gives it a try before judging it too early.
