I think I had a soft lap with a supersoft fit to my car.

I can see you saved the strategy after qualifying had begun (30 seconds after preparation had locked), so I guess you had the page open as it was locked, and switched stint 1 from Soft tyres to SS in the process, is that correct?

To prevent this in future I'm going to make it impossible to change strategies after the preparation is locked, even if you already have the race page open.

I think that happened in the Elite Tier for Racing Fans Unite at the British one. Only difference it was hard instead of super so thanks for posting this I hope it gets answered but it also answers why two elite people said someone was on hards when I saw they were on Supers. Actually now that I think about it this could have been around for a while. I mean while I was in Rookie while in the viewer I changed from softs to supers it still put me on softs not like it made a difference; I just didn't report it since I thought I changed too late since he was in pits but it maybe the same bug. I hope this bug gets fixed soon.

It's only a half-bug really. It's because people are saving strategies after race preparation gets locked. The issue is that we allow people to do that at all.

I think I need to add a countdown to when it's going to lock and then prevent anything from being submitted after that.

Well actually what I was talking about with the Rookie was in the race not sure if the pit stop was happening during the change sorry but I forgot what race it was I just know it was season 15 and it was when Romero did supers, softs, supers

i guess you can use this bug for exploiting, so that you can run your qualifying with SS and then change the tyre to S, M or H. So i would really call it a full bug.

I'd call it fixed now. :P

That occurred to me straight away as well, so I applied a patch quickly. It's not possible to save after practice is locked anymore, however the GUI will need to be much clearer on this than it currently is. It might not be clear at the moment if you save after the lock. It will probably be at least a week before clear GUI notifications are added for this.

First of all, thanks Jack for the patch!

Second: I know I did something wrong, but what I'd like to know if it's possible to know whether that time was set with soft or just appeared to be soft?
