The path to reaching level 3
The "Race" button bugs easily. That is, if you exit the sprint race menu and then try to click "race" to enter the live session, it just sends you to another sprint instead of letting you join the one you originally selected. Let me explain this more clearly below.
My first race was in Singapore, but it apparently didn't count. I set my strategy, clicked save, the timer ran out, and the race "started," but I accidentally exited the sprint menu. I clicked the "Race" button with the "Live" tag on it, but instead of joining Singapore, I ended up in a new sprint in Silverstone, so I quickly left again and clicked the "Race" button, hoping to join Singapore, but I only got another race in Silerstone, which I also left before it started.
I clicked the race button again, and this time it took me to Hungary. This time, I stayed, saved the strategy, and without exiting the sprint menu, I entered the race (in a very bizarre race, using 2D) and won.
When I checked my race history, I had my victory in Hungary, along with a P11 and P16 in different races in Silverstone, which allowed me to click the league button. Apparently, you can run multiple sprints at once if you exploit a bug?
With automatic timezone enabled, I pressed the race button at 18:00... and it sent me to a league at 15:00. I left that league and clicked to race at 22:00... but I entered a league at 19:00. Apparently, the game doesn't care about your timezone, it just uses UTC time (My time zone is UTC-3)... By the way, after joining a league, you need to refresh the page, or the menu will look the same as if you weren't in a league...
About that race in Hungary (2D)
I can't say as much as I'd like to, since it was a race full of bots... but I would like to highlight that the car does very strange braking, even when it's not fighting with anyone, and on a straight... there's a brutal desynchronization. I can understand a brake if the cars are very close and the one behind wants to avoid a collision with the one in front... but braking on a straight when you're in P1 doesn't make much sense.
On the other hand, I had a car with the same tires as me, just 0.1s behind or even less, for many laps... and on two occasions, it activated DRS but was unable to overtake me...
Lastly, and this is specific to Hungary... the cars don't enter the pits naturally, but instead, halfway through the corner, they teleport directly to the pit lane... and the chicane in sector 2 is taken over the gravel.
Other bugs discovered during the process
- This is a minor bug, but if you try to click on the name of someone who has left the league, it doesn't work, because between 'igpmanager.com/app/' and 'profile&user', the 'd=' is missing... This is a silly bug, but I imagine it’s an easy fix, so I’m including it.
- The donut still doesn’t work. What it says is: 'An error occurred while awarding the reward.' You can try it 10 times, but it won't work."
- This might be the hardest point to explain because I didn't think much of it at the time, but when creating the account, the tutorials were a bit clunky, especially when it came to choosing the team name... they hindered more than they helped.
- The drivers are invisible in the player profiles. The staff are displayed correctly, but where the pilots should be, there are only empty spaces.
Everything reported happened using this account, which was created to experience the perspective of a new player before being able to reach an iGP League
