Creating new generation drivers on the transfer list

Here is a crazy idea. Suspend the token cost for Academy drivers and send out a notice to the players to hire Academy drivers and then sell them.
Those new generation drivers would appear on the transfer list, right? Then there would be new generation drivers in the transfer list for any new teams that arrive instead of those old fossils that are there now.

This could work, it would be good if there were as many drivers to choose from in the old IGP. The only problem is that it would cost nothing to produce academy drivers, yet impossible not to lose money from them so every manager would be making infinite amounts of money from doing this. The transfer list would get flooded with drivers, making it tough to pick out the good ones. It took me ages to find young talented drivers - Longo and Madsen - but boy it was worth it. Longo wasn't an academy driver (Madsen could have been, he'd done a season with another team) but at least the wider selection was there.

Yeah this is a good idea but in order for it to work the transfer list has to be like the old IGP.

Whilst i like the concept of developing more young talent, i have to agree with Tom's reservations RE managers using it to make money. If you were to go down that route it would need to still cost to promote a graduate in order for there to be a financial risk to a team of them not selling for as much as the value of the tokens used to promote them...

Although I didn't mention it I really meant suspend for a short period of time like 1 or 2 weeks, just long enough for the transfer list to be populated. The idea was especially aimed at new players that might come in before IGP goes mobile as right now the transfer list is almost unusable for new rookie level players.

Perhaps the problem lies with the criteria for selecting drivers which are displayed rather than the drivers actually available?

I've released several academy drivers but haven't seen them appear within the list. The latest is Lewis White, a level 11, 20 yr old, talent 20 and partially trained https://igpmanager.com/app/d=driver&id=734379 but he doesn't show up on the list.

That maybe the level thing with you so he's too bad for you to have as a driver. Plus I think it will get fixed one the retirement thing comes into play.

My team is at level 11 and Lewis White is there.

in my other team m training my scouted Driver other than Talent & Exp every thing is nearly my level but dun know how to scout a talented driver

That was the team selling. I assume the auction expired without a bid so he was returned to the team? I've put him up for auction again.
