Competitor salary

Within a few days, both of my competitors' contracts expired. I extended them. 
So far, their salaries were the same, around 650k. One had a normal raise of 874k. 
The other, however, got a very high salary! 1.7M! Can anyone take a look at it?

Generally first wage increases after the 2026 update being much higher is normal, as the wage depends now heavily if racing in one or two car leagues and somewhat on level. However the difference is weird, with one a bit low, even for two car, at that level, but maybe it got lowered to half single car wage, and the other more looking like a 1 car, single driver, wage. Also can reproduce on this account, while on my racing account it'd renew properly to (lower than before) same wages.

That shouldn't be the case, who is going to give me back the more than 500 tokens that I have spent on all my accounts to get staff out of the academy and pay a lower salary? The truth is that I feel cheated, everyone has gone from charging 300K to charging 1.1M/1.2M. If you add to that the 750K per race that you have to spend to fix the headquarters, it is impossible to have more than one CD or TD without ending up in red numbers.

In short, I have spent a lot of tokens for nothing.

The concern that it's unfair towards managers recently promoting drivers/staff from HQ was brought up internally. As well as this making HQ hires completely unattractive, unless demand drives all transfer hires into long bidding wars, which both are not desirable.

However unfortunately general service stability and race quality were throwing up issues and those, along with account/league support issues, took up all of Jack's time so far. Hopefully both new bugs and old code base quirks that are game breaking are mostly taken care of now, so secondary issues can be addressed soon. On the upside, one car teams made money like it was growing on the lawn and two car have at least cheaper base wages now, so the issue is mitigated somewhat.

That's not my case, if I earn some money and I don't lose money after each race it's because now I have the minimum staff and I do the races goals. Before I could have 4 CDs of 300K and now I have to have a 1.2M one.

If my intention, for example, was to earn 3M-5M per race to clean up the account, now if I keep the same staff I lose money or at most earn 1M per race.

But hey, I'm glad to know that that's something that will be fixed in the future once the important things are fixed and they put the staff salaries back as they were, otherwise so much token spent would have been in vain.
