Hi Jack,

Played France tonight and it was awful in 2D, switched to top down view on 2D, not bad, but fixing the view to the car made me feel sea-sick with the track moving around, put me to thinking though! If the view was fixed to the track rather than the car, problem of 2D solved!!! Or, like Google maps, give the option of fixing the vew to the car or the track!!!

Just a thought.

BTW playing on Win 11, usually chrome, but used the desktop app to access top down view.

There will be a new 2D which fixes the offset car positions, soon. 

For top down view there's a checkbox in settings to set a fixed rotation. The view will still follow the car, but at least not rotate with it, and thus much better. 
Using map view (basically like 2D) in 3D the cars can't be unselected and thus view moves with the selected car, but Jack wrote he wants to make unselecting cars possible there as well.
