I can confirm this, it would only work on driver activation after a certain point. Others in the race had the same problem.

I had similar problems last night. Sometimes it just wasn't working. I tried refreshing the site, tried switching between drivers and etc. which seemed to work sometimes, but none of the workaround attempts were successful everytime..

I've altered some of the way KERS works while changing how the driver handles it, so this may have been tidied up as a result.  However I think this might have been because of networking issues as Mihai suggested.  If you notice this happening again, could you keep an eye on the time and send a post saying what time it happened.  That'll help me track down the cause.  Thanks very much.

Ok, I will do thatn next time it happens to me.
It happened to me today in my race http://igpmanager.com/play/?url=race-result/15911
I had a disconnection and when it reconnected, the "pitting" symbol was green (luckily I now know that it is a bug after a reconnection and it doesn't mean your driver will pit). ButI couldn't use KERS when I wanted even I had unchecked "Drivers controlled KERS".
I noticed that one of my drivers used it on its own even though I could not force him to do it.

Sometimes i have noticed kers not working when the driver is around 0.5 behind the driver ahead meaning you have to constantly click away at it. likewise with DRS it doesn't seem to work if that driver is selected in the telemetry menu.
