Hi, I wanna post a suggestion after what happened yesterday : I was in the final lap in Australia and my driver decided to stop in the .. last corner dropping from 2nd to12th ! I knew fuel was not a problem but I still checked logs after the race :

I'm really annoyed and that should not happen, I can understand a driver who wants to stop 1 lap before the end but there is no need to stop at the end because in all situations even close on fuel you have to finish that lap ..

Same thing happened to me. You can "cancel pit" in your race control panel. If you can catch it in time.

It might be an Australian thing.
I wasn't at the race (friday nights I'm out) my drivers pitted in each stint a lap early, when they had enough fuel to do the strategy I had set for them.

2.4 per lap the sim uses but practice has it at 2.35 or 2.36
16 laps I fueled 39L 0.6 extra to allow for traffic using sim fuel 2.4L & 1.24L extra using practice fuel of 2.36L
14laps I fueled 34L 0.4 extra on the sim fuel of 2.4L & 0.96L extra with practice fuel 2.36L
Pit box is well before the start/finish line, so even if there was not enough fuel the cars could of rolled over the finishing line on the last stint instead of pitting each time a lap early.

@James : Your explanation makes sense and I noticed it often in Australia.

I noticed if the pit is in front of the finish line the log is misleading. It then looks like it pitted one lap early while in truth it did another lap, pits, goes over the line and logs a full tank and fresh tyres while it did 99% of that lap on remaining fuel and old tyres.

@Joey: That looks like a bug in the pit stop logic, perhaps connected with pits placed before the finish line, or almost exactly on it since your tyres are still perfect 100%.
