Adjustments to tyre heating have been put live now. This should stop tyres becoming overly cold.

The balance can be tweaked based on your feedback.

Hey Jack, today we raced in Singapore right after your changes and one of us had a problem where his tyres wouldn’t cool down. He claimed that right after exiting the pits his tyres were already red hot. Race was at 21:30 CET.

Hi Jack
I think they're too hot now before I hadn't encountered any problems, even though they were just a little bit colder. I think a balance of things would make the game more cute

Hello Jack, regards,

We tried a tyre update last night and I can honestly say it was the best run we have had since the upgrade, most enjoyable in all ways strategically, added to that being able to fit less fuel, before the changeover, we had to go full tank on always pushing, yesterday those who didn't know about the upgrade came with excess weight, and those who did are coming off more comfortable than usual, it was quite fun running yesterday.

We ran in Brazil, 24°C, at 23:30 UTC-4, and really haven't enjoyed a race since months ago, the tyre got cold enough that you could go down to PL1 for half a lap and cool off when doing lifts & coasts, it wouldn't freeze but up near the blue bar, and you could re-heat it in PL5, down in PL4 and keep it warm without overheating consistently, you could put the hard tyre in and play along with the pushrods and keep it going, everyone really enjoyed the run yesterday.

Today we will have the Spain race, and we will give more feedback, because Spain was one of the races that gave us more problems why nothing got hotter, and if possible, we will make videos so there is a clearer feedback of how it works.

It should be clarified, as I said our timetable is 23:30 UTC-4, that is our fire test is European racing, the time change to early European morning, running at less than 15 degrees or even under 10, if in those conditions, we managed to make even H tyre moderately competitive why do you warm up a bit, it is because for us, the upgrade was a resounding success why tracks that were not playable with the previous tire update are now enjoyable.

Hi Jack,
I wanted to take a moment to congratulate you and the team on the changes in the latest update. As managers, we’ve noticed a fundamental adjustment in tire behavior, especially visible at circuits like Brazil, and the conclusion is clear: we finally have the challenge we were looking for.
We came from a situation where even the SS wouldn't heat up, even in Full Push, which took away from the game's tactical depth. Seeing that the H tires now gain temperature and require management is excellent news. You've truly brought the strategic element of thermal management back to life.

Now tyres are too hot. Hungary or Monaco with 5ºC and 1 lap full push, full hot tyres. Must be balanced. If now with 5º are too hot, in summer with 30º, what will happen?

Hi Jack,

I move on to continuing to give feedback on the tyre issue, at the same time that I said in my previous comment.

Spain, with 12°C, all the tyres were working properly, the hard one which was impossible to use before is now heating up correctly, and you can do lifts & coasts, go slow 3 laps, cool down to the blue border, then push 4 laps until it's red hot, or go PL4, PL2, PL3, gave a lot of variety. Earlier in Australia, 28C, same situation, very nice to be able to go with various pushes, the hard one is a tyre you know how to manage, and the soft one worked great, it cooled PL1 on 3 laps, and warmed up on the same laps of PL5, which for managing tempo, was really fun, controlling how the opponent goes and whether he is cooling or topping out. Really fun race in Russia yesterday at 8C, the tyres were warm out quite well around the corners, and you could control the thrusts so as to bring the temperature down and when you wanted to do fast laps, go PL5 for 3 or 4 laps, you never overheat your tyre by knowing how to manage it, and you can't freeze either, and it might be SS to H.
