For me, as a League Host (currently co-hosting), the game goes in two different levels:
- The Competitor: I'm not a dogmatic in the way the game is intended to be, and I like to find and apply the latest exploits in the "meta". I have a relatively low level compared to other managers in my league, so I try to find a mix between short term results (buying engines) and long term research plannings.
- The Host: As a host, the long term is crucial to sustain a good league, which isn't always the same of a top level league. The things I do for that is to apply simplicity in the rules (easy to understand and strictly applied) and keep the rest of managers motivated doing the things I do with a smile in my face. I'm a showman, so it isn't difficult!
