A simulator update was applied earlier tonight (about 4 hours ago) aimed at improving car behaviours in the pit lane. It should also improve car behaviours around the start/finish line and potentially for race starts too, though this was not the focus of the update.

Specifically, the focus was to prevent cars from pitting at the start of the pit lane then "teleporting" along it. All cars should now pit in a garage, and other intended behaviours are more accurate lap counting for pit stops and smoother car movements around the start/finish line in general on all circuits.

Feedback on car behaviour in the sim is welcome in this thread with regards to the pit lane, race starts and start/finish behaviours in general.

There is also a massive overall game update in the works which I am aiming to release next week, stay tuned for that.

Today I did a race in Brazil and one in Monaco. I'll do some more today and give my feedback.
I didn't notice any jumps or movement anomalies during the pit stops, either in Brazil or Monaco.

In Brazil, however, the car pitted after the finish line, so the tire age was 0. This caused an error on the in-lap for the next pit stop. I was supposed to pit on lap 24, but the car would have pitted on its own on lap 25. I had to manually press the "PIT" button to pit correctly on lap 24.
Monaco, on the other hand, had no such problem.


As for the race start and finish, I didn't notice any errors or new changes because I arrived at both races after the race had started, and as soon as the race in Brazil ended, I had to switch to the Monaco race. I left the Monaco race 10 laps before the end for work reasons.

Hola Giuliano, supuestamente los circuitos con errores en los pit son: Azerbaiyán, Rusia, Brasil y Bahrain, de igual forma, probarlos en las sprints creó que no es lo mejor, yo hoy en mi liga correré en Bahrain e intentaré dar mi opinión, aunque lo más bestia del bug fue los tiempos de parada, algunos pilotos tardaban menos de 1 segundo y otros más de 11... Pero bueno espero que está actualización funcione perfectamente y nos ayude a mejorar🤞

Dear Jack Basford!
I would like to propose two improvements that could significantly enhance the experience for league managers and engine developers.
First,it would be highly beneficial if leagues had the option to create fully customizable race calendars. The current rotational calendar system does not provide enough flexibility and often does not suit the preferences or competitive balance needs of many leagues. Allowing league administrators to freely select and arrange circuits would give communities greater control,improve engagement,and create more diverse and enjoyable champinships.
Second, i suggest introducing daily free engine points for engine developers. Providing a small amount of free engine development points each day would encourage consistent activity,support long-term progression,and make engine development more accessible without negatively impacting overall balance.
Thank you for considering these suggestions.
I believe these changes would improve both competitiveness and player satisfaction across the game.

Thanks that's a helpful report. I think I can fix this, it's just a bit tricky.

 I think this happens when you join while some cars have already finished. Had you just launched or restarted the race viewer when you caught this? Or were you joined long before this happened?

I was in the viewer for the whole race, only quit and re-enterad at at start of race to get controls for both cars [that bug is still hanging around ]

The cars just stopped dead on the track as they finished the race.
