Roll back the update

The new menu system is a mess.
They have chosen to hide simple things like league messages in a sub menu.
They appear to have erased the option to access race history.
To access the forums you now need to find the option hidden in the change log system.
Thats without mentioning the bugs that the update has brought with it.
At this point I think IGP Enshitification is a real thing.

Instead of trying to fix things that are not broken, how about fixing things that are?

Yesterday it was messy as is was just deployed. I agree.

I logged in now and at least on the pc client and app, the interface is fixed, from the main menú you can switch between leagues if you're vip and access them directly. The buggy "chat"/league wall of messages is no longer visible. If you tap on league, you enter the league menu as usual. When going to the paddock, you can access the forums in one click now (yesterday it was not possible).

I was very critical of the W2W update and how it was carried out. But to be fair, this one was deployed (almost) perfectly, most UI glitches were fixed within hours or by clearing our caches.

Main menu looks neat on app now:

369x800
At the bottom you can access the league in one click in (liga), sorry I have the game in Spanish. And you still have the navigation menu at the bottom too.

Easy to hop from one league to another if you're VIP:

369x800

And the league "wall/chat" is the button next to it, it looks good now on app at least:

369x800

369x800

At the top right you can access the "Paddock", then the forums. And from the paddock it is easier to find leagues, manufacturers etc. I think those menus have improved:

369x800

EDIT: After clearing my browser cache and cookies, the browser interface looks good, just like app and pc client.

PC client looks good too! If you play on PC, I strongly recommend it.

Yeah i just said on my Poll in Gen Pop, but hey at least the Helmet doesn't cover half the main page now.

Now i am off to find a compass, and old soothsayer and a spiritual guide to get back to the league page.

Personally, I think the new design is really great. If you're seeing the helmet take up the whole page, just reset your cache and it should fix the issue. The updated interface looks much more modern and feels more intuitive—especially for players like me who need to switch between three leagues regularly.

Yes, the forum isn’t directly accessible at the moment, but I’m sure that will be addressed soon. Overall, I’m really happy with the direction of this update!

I have to throw in the trash all my screenshots that I collected to improve the game ui since I have to repeat everything... I don't know if my thread where I list every single problem will ever be published at this point.

Yes, the new ui sucks. Keeping it simple is too hard. I prefer the old white/green ui from 2022 (like this forum). A uniform user experience is a mirage.

Well this new ui is hateful. This game is now reminding of BR style now. That I do not like.
And I think that’s exactly the direction the devs want: a more casual and faster game for the masses. The problem is that iGP’s strength was its depth and long-term team development.

With the new universal ratings in iGP Manager 2026, it feels like the manager progression system is gone. I’m level 11 with only 14 races and I already won a race competing against level 40 managers. For players who spent 5+ years building and developing headquarters, this must be incredibly frustrating. A rookie shouldn’t be able to win that quickly.

Another issue now is the transfer market. Before it took about 4 minutes to place a bid and hire a driver or staff member. Now it can take up to 1 hour. I don’t have an hour to sit and watch an auction. I have a real life.

Without real challenges or the need to carefully plan how to develop my team, the game loses its depth. For me, this new model just isn’t fun and so, I’ve decided to leave the game.

Before this 'update' the game actually logged in on the PC version!

Now stuck at 21% loading, and can not race on the PC!

I think it's disrespectful to the community that they waste time modifying the game visually when they still have many bugs to fix from the previous update, and they don't seem to care. I also have to say that this interface is awful.

Forum added to the paddock, along with AI assistant (her knowledge needs an update - will get that later).

For those saying it was messy as it was deployed, this is the most frustrating report I hear *every time* we deploy an update. Surprisingly, it's actually nothing to do with our code. We don't "launch it in that state", we haven't overlooked anything there when it renders all screwed up. It's a symptom of a webview. Because the game runs inside a "webview" inside the app (as a website) and the webview aggressively caches all old javascript, CSS etc. it can sometimes try to render new layouts with old CSS, and this causes this kind of corrupted display. This is why a simple "cache clear" resolves it.

Both. We're doing both.

If you check out realistic setups, we're now offering simulator level depth. The thing is, it doesn't appear at login, it's buried in league settings. It prohibits use of ideal setups and is a strict simulation mode. Setups directly impact car performance. Higher gear ratio = more acceleration, for example. Realistic impacts and new settings like camber, toe etc.

There will be screens added in-game to explain the new features and depth, and a blog soon (likely tonight), so before rushing to any conclusions, give that a read.

Since it's on the hour every hour, just come back 1 minute before the hour ends. I think it could help if we set a notification reminder. I will be looking into that.

I get the idea of making the game simpler at the start and deeper later, and I understand you want to grow the game exponentially. But in doing that, it risks losing some of its appeal for long-time players.
I have less than 20 races and the game has already discouraged me enough that I’m leaving. I know you can’t please everyone, but for me the development of the game is moving too fast and in a direction that removes the depth that made iGP interesting.
It also no longer feels like a real management game. A management game should reward patience, planning and long-term team development. I personally need challenges to stay focused and keep playing, and right now that feeling isn’t there.
About the transfer market: even if the auction ends on the hour, it still means planning your real life around the game clock. Before you could finish a transfer in a few minutes and move on. That felt much more practical for a manager game.

Hi Jack, I was one of those, perhaps there is a way to inform all players to clear their caches. Maybe an announcement 1-2 days before the update on the forums and as an in-game message, like the one we received to cast our votes last week. I know it will never reach the whole playerbase, and many players will one day enter the game and be hit by the "messy" interface and come complain here, you can't avoid that 100%.

But if it helps, I was very critical of how the W2W update was managed and many of the additions I did dislike. But I do like the changes on this update a lot! The different race modes, the realistic set up (can't wait to try it!) and that boosts now add value rather than unlocking content that was previously free-for-all. At first I did panic about the market timer, and I still have my doubts, but I think everyone should let 1-2 weeks pass and see how it plays out.

PS: I am still waiting for my bugged undelivered free vip monthly boost :P (sorry had to take the opportunity).

Thanks! I'm hearing that a lot privately, this update is definitely being well received overall.

It's almost become habit for a lot of people to pile on every update, understandably. This one is essentially get past a cache clear and you'll be fine.

We're definitely moving in the right direction now, and development is entering a flow state where we can build on this new platform, as I promised with the W2W update.

I've sent two and will look into why they aren't being awarded now.

Indeed. There is no other manager game offering this level of depth. Not even motorsport manager or F1 Manager, the supposed hardcore PC sims. We've moved closer to something like iRacing with this new mode.

I think the updates this year have been a positive on the whole as the initial bugs have been ironed out. What I do agree with here is the transfer market comment. The quick pace a refresh of it was very good, especially for those who don't have as much time to dedicate to the game each day. Very much a case of if it isn't broken don't fix it - the 4 minute refresh of the market was great, I don't know why it was changed. To be honest, I think it takes away from the fast paced pick up and play game for the masses that Jack has described. The hardcore stuff like detailed set-ups is great as an option for those who want it, but because the market is a game-wide system it doesn't really make sense how it has been changed.

Sure, but at the same time people could be hastily interrupted past that one hour and unable to return to their auction - it is another mundane thing that requires more attention than it really deserves which in my opinion is completely unnecessary.

The main issue with the market in recent years has always been the lack of available, young and quality drivers and staff, not timing, this will just make leagues even more inward looking.

Why have a potentially massive token fight on a 1 hour auction when you can immediately get a young driver or staff member from the academy who although young will last you longer?

When at the heart of it the game is a motorsport race management game why are we making it even more difficult for people to quickly pick up and play? It is something that you and the team have long prided itself on. To me it is giving with one hand and taking with the other far as I'm concerned Jack.

I just wanted to follow up on my message from earlier. After spending more time with the new update and actually seeing how it plays out during the day, I think I reacted too quickly.
At first the changes felt very abrupt to me, but after watching things more closely I can see the logic behind them. The easier start combined with a more challenging experience at higher levels actually makes a lot of sense and should work really well for both new and experienced players.
So if my previous message sounded too harsh, I apologize. First impressions can be misleading, and after giving it a proper look I can see that the direction has a LOT of POTENCIAL.
I’ve decided not to quit the game for now and instead stick around to see how it evolves. I’m curious to see how the new system develops over time.
Well done to the devs, and thanks for continuing to improve the game.

I appreciate this message, genuinely. Thank you.

It's still early days, and we're building rapidly on this new platform. We haven't started marketing yet either. I've been cleaning out the mailing list and getting everything ready, so hold tight, because things are about to accelerate.

Overall, this is a good update, thank you, Jack.
It’s promising to see that many bugs have been resolved.
I would like to offer a suggestion regarding the daily donut icons.
Currently, there are three of them: one in the shop, one on the start page, and one after clicking race.
This feels excessive for a feature we visit only once a day.
In my opinion, the icon on the main page should be replaced by a more useful button, such as a direct link to our race strategy or a larger paddock view. Even a shortcut to the forum or the fame leaderboard would be a better use of that space.
I also noticed a minor bug: even after completing the daily donut, the icon in the shop remains active and doesn't grey out like the daily reward icon does.
Also, there is still a discrepancy between the rules displayed on the league wall and the actual ones.
This started after the December update, when all leagues were reset to default settings.
This is a major problem for anyone wanting to join a league, as they don't know exactly what the settings are.
Finally, could you please look into the auto-kick feature?
It hasn't been working correctly since the beginning of the year.
As a result, there are many inactive leagues that contribute nothing to the game.
These leagues are often exploited by farmers to obtain tokens and easy wins.
I believe that closing down these leagues based on specific criteria would be a good solution.
While the new fame leaderboard is a nice addition, it feels pointless when league integrity is compromised.
Anyway, thank you everyone for your time.

Thanks! And yes, that's been a high priority and remains so. I am in Pokémon mode. I want to catch them all.

Good ideas.

I also noticed a minor bug: even after completing the daily donut, the icon in the shop remains active and doesn't grey out like the daily reward icon does.

This is because you can still claim a diamond donut. Until you claim both, it doesn't disable. It would be useful if the image changed to reflect that also, noted.

Toto
Also, there is still a discrepancy between the rules displayed on the league wall and the actual ones.

I've made it display the current season settings on the League page and League Select page now, not the "current league settings", but what the current season is running. This should help.

Toto
Finally, could you please look into the auto-kick feature? It hasn't been working correctly since the beginning of the year.

Tried a couple of times before, didn't find anything. Will try again.
