Classic mode has just received a series of fixes and improvements to bring it closer to the 2019 feel of iGP Manager. Most importantly, cars will not race wheel-to-wheel as they were doing in the past 48 hours.

Hello, I don't know what IGP was like in 2019. Apart from the elimination of W2W visual effect, what other changes have been made to the current game engine? Are the dirty air effect and tyre management the same as today?
I get the impression that the dirty air effect is not present in W2W, is that correct?
Thanks

Dirty air, slipsteam and even boost were returned to the specific settings they had around March 2019. That's why the boost has a little "jolt" and isn't so smooth as the current game (which has smoothing).

The impact of dirty air is mostly negligible in the current w2w simulation but it is still present. In early testing I was told repeatedly that it was too hard to overtake in W2W compared to pre-w2w (they got used to driving through each other) so I leaned into making overtaking on the easy side to make racing better, so you don't get stuck behind other cars as much.

When did you apply this change? A few days ago I was racing in Australia and it was a mess, saying the least. Especially with new tires, I noticed that my drivers got stuck behind each other when passing with drs, even though the track was empty (it was just my 2 drivers on the straight).

I think we're describing separate issues, that's about lane changing logic, which could be improved in some cases. I've seen a few DRS overtakes blocked too. I take it from your post that it's still viewed as a common issue?

Yes, also others in my league have experienced this. It happens of other circuits too
