Sir skips a lot

What did you try to do?
Game skips during race. Cars get stopped spin to side and some cars are not affected. At the very start some cars immediately jump over the pole sitter to 1st, while everyone else gets bunched up and the game skips. However the game never seems to correct the error, it lets the jumpers keep their position. Today I watch a car stopped on the track stay at P1 the whole race as everyone passed him on multiple laps. Previous issue when I had DRS engaged and boost down a straight, I was still passed.
