I'm playing at your game since many years now, I'm running in the same league since six years and I've never seen iGP Manager in such an horrendous shape.
If you could give as much detail on this point as possible, I will work to address it. I am well aware of the issues with race starts, and this one bug with races crashing described in the first two posts. The service is only running on 2 servers currently while it is waiting for an update. The capacity is very low right now and this causes many of the issues that you see when it comes to glitching and lagging.
To give some context, around five years ago iGP Manager had a much larger team working on it. Today, I am the only one here, maintaining the live service, support, development, server work and future updates. I’m not saying that as an excuse for the current problems. Players are right to expect the game to work properly. But it does explain why some things have taken longer than they should, and why I’m now using AI heavily to increase what I can do alone.
The important point is this: A lot of work is happening behind the scenes, and without that work the game would not be online today. I believe it now has a much stronger future than it has had for some time, but first I need to get through this stability phase. The circumstances have forced me to innovate at a pace that I didn't think was possible 6 months ago, and we are very well positioned for the rest of the year, even if in the short-term we are seeing some capacity issues with the limited servers and older versions of code running on them. A lot of updates will be arriving soon, focused on stability and improving the overall UX. In the meantime I will reiterate that I really appreciate your patience and your continued support over the years.
