Level 7 driver

I've seen many people with level 6 in scouting that have level 7 drivers. But i can only find level 6 drivers, why?

I remember when i started playing and had level 1, then i could see and hire level 2 drivers, but their attributes were hidden.

I was able to buy a Level 5 driver and after 1 training session, the driver was level 6. Now after 1 season, the driver is now Level 7 and I've only just reached Level 6.

Get a 'good' (meaning expensive) Level 6 and he'll advance soon. In your case I'd hire a new driver right now as yours is retiring after the season and by that is wasted time. Up until level 6 it might be a better choice to wait and hire a higher level instead of training the current driver, as the progress is quick, but from 6 on the way is too far. I expect my driver to be level 8 long before I reach scouting lvl 7.
And look for a young one!
