From the majority of the managers of the league I'm in (Neueinsteiger Liga) I hear – or better read – that they have the impression that the costs for subscriptions are a bit too high. On the other hand you need the 2D viewer to be competitive in a race.
Everybody knows, that a game like this with all the setting up and the costs for the servers is a huge task and one of the goals is business. But I would guess there is little sense when a lot of people try the game, enter for two or three races and then step out and are nevver seen again.
In some leagues there are only a few cars left, in our league not everyone will drive the next season, and after all there is not much fun involved when entering (or staying in) a league with only a few cars.
Wouldn't it be senseful to recalculate the subscriptions to get more people to stay in iGP? I fear that keeping it like it is, the whole thing may end after a year's time or so. And that simply can not be the aim of the organizers and developers.
An other sugggestion: How about opening some leagues by the organizers? At the moment the majority of the leagues has a racetime at 8 pm (CET). I have the impression that this is another reason for people to end their comitment.
The organization of a league should also include the possibility to change race days and opt for one or two cars teams starting a new season. This in my opinion could help to keep the people in a league because it would be more interesting and give you the opportunity to learn from your first season (jn a one car legue) to develop your knowledge with a two car team. At the moment you can only change the league and I guess this is not what the majority of people want.
