I noticed that we can only do a max of 4 pit stops as far as the strategy tab goes. If we are Live with the race and making changes on the fly, can we pit more than 4 times? Or is there a max number of pits allowed (similar to limiting teams to X sets of tires in normal races).

Since I'm in a 50% league I haven't used it myself but I know you can do more than 4 pit stops if you attend the race and set up the additional stops in the viewer. As an example here the winner from the ERL Belgium race stopping 6 times: https://igpmanager.com/app/d=resultDetail&id=4680653

Thanks! That user seems to have employed the same idea I wanted to go for to see if it's worth it. I would have to pit 8 times though.

Edit due to error pointed out by James

You don't have to attend to have more than 4 stops.

The game is setup to repeat your final stop until the race ends. So if you had a 60 lap race and you wanted your stops to be identical, you could setup as 4 stops with 6 laps of fuel each and whatever your #4 stop is set to, the game will keep repeating it.

Thanks Greg, didn't know that, as many do I suppose because I read it before you need to attend. Since the viewer uses the "standard stint" with medium tyres for the additional stops I guessed it might be the same if you are offline.

if you where doing less than 4 stops, it would fit the default med tyres and fuel load for an unscheduled stop online or offline

Thanks James, it's the fine details that make the difference and you have to know. :-)

Whoops! Yes I forgot about that. So my example is not correct. I will edit.
