Is it normal that the forum threads still appear in green after i read them?
I have to manually mark them as read with the button Mark all Forums Read. 
Otherwise they allway show in green.

Currently, yes. The way to mark forums as read is to click the Mark all Forums Read button. We will develop more advanced detection in future patches.
