fast curve skill 15,
slow curve 15,
attacking 1,
defending 1,

is fatter than a driver with:

fast curve skill 8,
slow curve 8,
attacking 8,
defending 8,

???

In clear space the driver with little attacking and defending will be faster but if they are mixed in with other cars they will get held up.

Overtaking also is the ability to get past back-markers not just fighting for position.

That's my take on it.
