As I peruse the forums, I gather that iGP used to offer some type of subscription. Is that still going on and what are the perks if so? I may be willing to drop my SWTOR sub for iGP.
Under the "old" iGP, you had to do a subscription to be able to use the race viewer. Otherwise, you worked with everything but the live race viewer. As far as I know, that subscription model is completely gone.
Hi Jordon, we stopped offering the subscription with the new version. There used to be a subscription and "reward points" in the game, and the subscription locked certain areas of the game for subscribers only. We decided to drop this and convert out "Reward points" into "Tokens", and make them more visible in the game than they used to be.
This was largely motivated by making the game more suitable for mobiles, as the subscription would not have worked well there or been well received most likely. It worked well as a browser game for a few years though.
