Race ID 634
Last lap loads of us had drivers make unneeded and unplanned pit stops.
It lost me a solid position.
No-one knew what was going on, but at least 4 of us had stops made when the drivers were good for fuel.
Cheers,
Simon

I've seen this a couple of times. I think it's because a mini disconnection of the site, that causes engage pitting (pit button goes green), all of data goes to 0 and tyres to hard. I also believe that causes to engage KERS automatic when you have it manual.
A couple of races ago, many drivers have to enter pits while it was raining and go out with hard. Lucky me, I was able to notice that and keep one of my cars on track.

I don't think that's what happened at Simon's race Ariel. I've had a look and as far as I can see all the cars that pitted on the last lap did so "correctly" as they were about to run out of fuel. I'm not sure why this might have been particularly common at this race. A similar issue was raised on another thread recently and is discussed here:

My driver (22404) definitely had enough fuel when he pitted, and others who had their drivers pit said they were ok for fuel too.

In that race my drivers pitted at the end due to lack of fuel, but earlier in the race one of them (9650) stopped a lap too early, twice!

Ok, this happened again tonight, however I spotted it and cancelled the pit-stop.
I don't think it makes any sense the "buffer" system I've seen mentioned in another thread. I think the fuel system would be much better if you had a better idea of what was on board (i.e. a decimal place).
