Reputation

I've had a bit of an issue with this for a while. A lot of races I finish 1 and 2 and don't get any reputation points (ok, it's a new league I get it).

But the last 2 or 3 races I finish 1 and 2 and actually LOSE 1 reputation point. Surely this must be a bug, right?

u need to compete with teams better then u then only u get more reputation points, otherwise at the end u may get 100 repo points as u will be winner [not sure] let other confirm this season finish 100 repo points

This isn't a bug. Brijesh provides a good explanation, though it might not satisfy your desire for an answer.

The algorithm or calculation that determines how many reputation points you might earn or lose each race is dependent upon the reputation of all other managers in the tier. In your situation, there's only 4 managers in the tier, which means there is very high dilution of the reputation points, and one of your league mates who is in 4th has over 1000 reputation points less than yours.

In contrast, in my league, I gained 2 reputation points for a 1-2 finish. There are 15 managers in my tier (low dilution), with the lowest reputation count being 5074. If I ever have less than a 1-2 finish, I stand to lose 2-6 reputation points. For a while when I had 1-2 finishes (about 6+ months ago) I'd get 0 reputation, but the quality of managers in my tier is slowly improving.
