The most significant feature of iGP that makes our cars "unrealistically" fast is KERS.  That will give you a number of seconds advantage if you use it for an entire lap.

Why you realized the KERS as it is and not like it is in realitiy (limited Energy per lap)? If the ralization as a function of brake energy is to complex a fixed amount of energy (in seconds) per lap might be quite more realistic as the posibility to use KERS for one whole lap. (Sorry if I understand it wrong, as a lv 5 Manager I don'tuse it by myself atm. Hop to get in contact shortly ... :-) )

We tried it like that in beta testing. It was no fun to use manually and had zero strategy to it. The only strategy was press it every lap and it got annoying fast.

As it is the manager can take control of the KERS and use it strategically at key moments throughout the race. Some might use it all at the start and others save it up for the end, some might use it to go for a lap record whilst others use it to win the race. It gets really fun when everyone has KERS and you start battling with each other. :D

@Jack +1
You can really have some interesting strategies with KERS like this. For example you know using it entirely on a lap can give you a 3s advantage so as long as you make sure your opponent has used all his kers, to beat him you just need to be 3s away from him ;-)
