I would like it if you could have a kind of setting that lets you decide when you want your driver to push high or very high if you are not going to attend the race. I would also like to classify that I am talking about in the 'next race' icon and on the strategy part. I would like this if anyone that is close to Jack could tell him about this suggestions. Thanks for reading. :-D

The number of times I have seen this suggested. I can't count them!

Anyway, this suggestion was rejected by Jack maybe a year, a year and a half ago. The reason was the premise of the game is to live manage, not make it a game one can play at idle. If anybody can play successfully without ever live managing the core aspect of the game is in danger.

But maybe the suggestion needs to be improved. What if it costs tokens at each race to purchase the option to choose what push level you have for each stint? But there will be heavy push back from players who do not spend money on the game.

However, this suggestion could see the light of day if it was a limited purchase to a few races per season. It should still cost tokens to purchase the option, but you would be limited (to 3 races per season for example), thus locking out the pay-to-win aspect as Jack has implemented across the rest of the game.

But then the heavy push back comes again, with players feeling like they are penalized for not being able to attend races.

It's a never ending circle the way I look at it.

Anybody who can beat my suggestion?

Not bothered about advanced PL settings when you can't attend, I like the fact that you have to attend to have any chance of winning thus keeping a sort of community spirit within the league.
What I would like to see on the pre-race strategy page is a default PL and an auto-KERS disable check box. If the viewer freezes or throws you out mid-race then the cars should instantly switch to the default PL and will not auto-KERS if the disable box has been checked. This would prevent the situation where for some reason you become disconnected and rejoin to find your tyres are melted and all of the KERS you've been carefully saving for later in the race has disappeared.

I totally agree with all of that man but i understand that setback and aspect that players would feel penalized however maybe if we can last a few more months like the way we are doing, we shall see if it is still ok or not. Also what about if you might suggest to Jack to do a test/beta run.

Kevin, the old IGP had the ability to disable kers in the race viewer. I prefer that because your push level stayed where you had set it if you went offline. However, the option to disable kers from the next race strategy menu would be nice for those times that you know you will be late joining the race.

I would really like an explanation of why was that button removed from the game.

Leslie. Yes I think removing the button was a retrograde step along with a few others I could mention such as weather station, supplier relationships and staff training. I would still like to see a default PL which the cars switch to when the manager goes off-line. On a couple of occasions (admittedly not recently) I've become disconnected on an "in lap" at high PL and by the time I've reconnected my driver has pitted and fitted new tyres which are now red hot and will be uselss for the remainder of the stint.

I totally understand that man because it just eats away your tyres and then it costs you podium places and wins

I like this idea also! I am not a fan of the idea of being able to set default push levels before the race etc as it stops people from joining.

But I think we all have occasions where you get disconnected etc, and as it always seems to be on the in lap or out lap when you are full push. And as Kevin points out, by the time you come back (cause it takes so long for the race viewer to reload) your tyres are toast for the rest of that stint :(
