I was racing in Monaco today, and it was a dry to wet to dry race.
During the time where the track was drying, the driver was about to pit in, so I pressed the cancel pit button.
Then, when I was checking something else, my driver who was on intermediates, auto pitted for Soft tyres until the end of the race.
This ended my chance of winning the race, and it was even worse when there was another auto-pit a few laps later for mediums.
I did press cancel pit a lot of the time, and it is very annoying for me so I would like to ask if you could include an option to disable the auto pitting when I am watching the race in the race-viewer, as I was 3rd with 14.8 behind the leaders catching up 2.5 seconds a lap to losing 5 seconds thanks to those automated pit stops which I couldn't control.

The fuel wasn't an issue so I can easily discount that as being the problem.

If you know you are going to attend the race set the advanced strategy to...
"If it's raining and water reaches: 5 mm fit insert tyre choice here"
"If it stops raining for: race length + 1 lap fit insert tyre choice here"
If the weather conditions change during the race these settings prevent the cars from auto pitting. You get to choose the lap on which they pit, the tyres they fit and the quantity of fuel they load.
This isn't quite as good as the "disable auto pit" button you are asking for but unless the devs introduce a disable option it is a work around that has served me well on a number of occasions.

It's fine enough for me, I'll try it. Thanks :)

What I mean is I have to press that button every lap, so if I do that, it will annoy me a lot. That was what I did in yesterday's 100% race I had in Monaco.
