I see, when driver left our team, he disappear from driver standings. I think it should be changed, it is really strange, when you look at past standings, see a team with collected 200 points, but there aren't any rider from that team ;)

The devs' excuse for this was that teams with tons of drivers would clog the standings page.
But it is strange to check past results and see gaps or even entirely blank lists for the Drivers' Championship.

That's not that much of an excuse, though. Teams with lots of drivers still could clog the standings page if they keep those drivers after all.
I agree, things would look much better if the fired drivers remain in the standings. Would also address that problem of loosing the drivers championship because of a retiring driver. Shouldn't happen often but happened at least once already.
