car design points

Hi, when I leave league i lose my car design points, when I come back i the same league after 15 minutes i didn t get back my car design points and now my car is 2 seconds slower, why ?

You left Formula E1 for two days and joined a bunch of other leagues in that time.

Regardless of whether or not you joined another league then came back, by simply leaving a league and re-joining it, you are required to accept the penalties imposed on your car.

and when start new season, i will get back my points?

It depends on how many races your current Chief Designer is, as long as at least half the season still remains, yes, you will get your points back.

I do not appear to have received any design points for the last two races,checked the chief designer and still had 16 race contract, even updated contract and still no designer points received.

Dave, design points are not tied to the Chief Designer, but to the Design facility, which always awards design points after each race. Your league races once per week, which means your last race was over two weeks ago now that you're in a new season. You don't earn design points for the last race because you have begun a new season where the design is all new.

Ok thanks for explaining makes sense for the last race, but not for the race before that. I should have received 7 design points for that?

Yeah, you should have and I'm willing to bet you did. Considering the previous season has ended, I can't justify asking the developers to see if you did. If there is any instance that it happens again though, let us know and we can resolve it.

I left my old league after the season has finished (only me and some guy raced so it was pretty boring), than I joined other active league where my friend plays and I lost all of my design points. I know this system prevents people from doing bad stuff, but it kinda prevents people from having fun and stay competitive too... I invested so much time and money into developing my cars and now its all lost just because I wanted to have fun and play in active league... Please respond, thank you!

Hi Pavle, I'll admit the loss of design points is still problematic. You may be behind at the moment, but you will be able to catch up by researching your rivals cars.
