Design balancing finally working as intended?

Did my first proper non league-hopping league switch in over half a year. First left my previous league after the end of its season, waited for a spot to open in the new league I wanted to joined, and joined when spaces freed up due to promotions and relegations taking place before the start of the new league's next season (hence why Elite tier in the league I'm in is 17/16 now, my bad).

And was glad to see this:



Can I have confirmation that this is working as intended? If so, it's good for those who want to switch leagues and do so without league-hopping. What if we left our previous league after its season's end, but joined a new league when it's in the middle of the season?

I can't confirm this, but I am willing to test this with my test account to see if such is the case to increase the sample size. Will need to wait some time before I can test it though.

This is exactly what I did too, but I only got 17 points when I joined the new league and I had around 150-180 points before I joined.
